Semolina Cake

Semolina cake Ingredients needed Butter- ½ cup (unsalted) melted Powdered sugar - ¾ cup or 1 cup Semolina - 1 ½ cup Plain flour / refined flour - ½ cup Pinch of salt cardamom powder - ¼ tsp Curd / yogurt - ¼ (whisked) Milk - 1 cup (adjust consistency) Baking powder - ¾ tsp Baking soda - ½ tsp A handful of dry fruits - chopped almonds, pistachios, cashews Instructions Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take ½ cup melted butter. Also, add ¾ cup of powdered sugar. add 1 cup for more sweetness. Whisk continuously, till the mixture turns silky smooth. Further add 1½ cup semolina, ½ cup plain flour, salt to taste and cardamom powder. Additionally, add ¼ cup curd and ¾ cup milk. Mix well add milk if required to adjust the consistency. Pour ¼ cup more milk over top and level it up. This prevents from drying. Allow soaking for 30 minutes. Now mix well and adjust to dropping consistency by adding milk if required.
