Butter cookies
Ingredients needed
- 1 quarter cup of butter
- 3 quarter cup white granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- Some choco chips
Let’s get started
- Firstly, take the butter of room temperature and add the graduated sugar with olive oil and water
- Stir it with a spatula or use a fork to be quicker.
- Stir it till it becomes soft and fluffy
- Add some choco chips to it and stir slowly.
- Then take a bowl and add all-purpose flour.
- Add salt and baking powder to it and stir it well.
- Take the butter mixture and add the dry ingredients to it (in baches)
- Use the cut and fold method to be quicker and remember we want a dough.
- Now our cookie dough is ready, we just have to grease the cookie sheet and put the dough on it.
- To do that take an icecream scope or a spoon and put it on the sheet.
- After you are done take it on your hand, roll it and then keep it back (remember put the dough balls far from each other cause they will flatten out when we keep them in the oven.)
- Keep the sheet in the oven for about 10 min (400 degrees celsius).
- After 10 min take them out and let them sit for 5 min (you will find them crunchy from outside and soft from inside )
- Serve with some milk !!!!! :)
